Philip met with Bingley residents for his latest coffee morning Q&A session giving them a chance to raise any issues they have or need help resolving.
The topics were wide ranging from rubbish and fly tipping to adult social care, as well as service charges on flats and Bingley pool.
Also raised were dangers posed by E-bikes and health and social care of elderly people.
Philip said: “A wide range of issues were raised at the meeting, and I am grateful to the people who attended. People who come have different political allegiances and the cross-section of people who come enable me to keep closely in touch with the concerns of my constituents.”
Bingley Pool was also raised and some people expressed concerns about Bradford Council’s lack of commitment to the pool – despite government pledging the money earlier this year. Philip agreed that Bradford Council was dragging its feet. He wants the council to open the pool as soon as possible and then asset transfer to Friends of Bingley Pool.
